The Motorcross Aad KTM driver Nicky van Wordragen had a difficult time last weekend in St. Jean D 'Angely.
Partly due to a heavy cold that Nicky 2 days before leaving got she did not feel so good.
Nicky went with the team, consisting of her family on Thursday noon to St. Jean. The trip went without problems, but Nicky had complained of cold and had heavy cough attacks between.
Saturday morning 09.00 am the first free practice for the ladies.
The track was harder than it looked.
The transponder that Nicky had been given from the FIM was broken and and did not go beyond a 31st time.
Sunday morning 09.00 am, Nicky still suffers from colds.
The warming-up was perfect! The track was sprayed and very smooth and in some places even really wet. Many women had difficulty here but Nicky did good by the mud and made it to a 8 time. The start of the 1st heat was at the gate very well but in the first turm Nicky was on the wrong side. The pieces up were very worn by sspraying and driving and Nicky had some trouble getting up. Nicky made a few mistakes and finished 12th.
Sunday noon 2nd heat.
The start was good only in the corner it was very busy which almost led to a fall. Nicky came after about 3 rounds as 10th over. Unfortunately Nicky fell en goes back to a 12th place.
After this Nicky makes another mistake and falls again, Nicky could not get up fast and easy and Nicky still lose 2 points and ends as 14.
The overall state of today for Nicky is 12.
